"I might
not be a religious man myself but I know good music when I hear it, and this is very
good! . . . I dont think that I have ever given such high
ratings to so many songs before. But
the fact is that they are well deserved because the
music is amazing. Simply wonderful religious ballads and they
really get to your heart. . .everytime."
Fredrik Cole: Trax In Space
Silent night! Holy night!
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child!
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight!
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia;
Christ, the Savior, is born, Christ the Savior, is born.
Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, loves pure light!
Radiant beams from Thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth, Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

As always from this group, sample quality is top notch. Very beautiful, relaxing, and shows some excellent artistic talent. A very beautiful piano arrangement for Silent Night!
Roncli: Trax In Space
I doubt if I am alone when I say that
this is my favorite Christmas hymn of all time. Interestingly enough the writers of this
classic had to come up with it at the last moment. The organ in a small Catholic church in
the Austrian Alps was broken down just before Christmas in 1818. Joseph Mohr, the priest,
busily took on the task of coming up with some music and scratched out the words to
Silent Night. He showed them to the organist Franz Gruber who put the words to
music.
When the song was first performed it was played on guitar. I wanted to come up with an
instrumental arrangement that would bring us back to that moment when this touching song
about the birth of Christ was first performed. Naturally, therefore, I began the
arrangement with light picking acoustic guitars. Quietly and gently the piano sneaks in to
create a mood that captures the wonder of Christs birth.
Mohr and Gruber had looked for the perfect Christmas hymn for years. As soon as Gruber saw
the lyrics he declared to his pastor, You have found it -- the right song -- God be
praised! Indeed, Christmas music does not get any better than this.
