"I might
not be a religious man myself but I know good music when I hear it, and this is very
good! . . . I dont think that I have ever given such high
ratings to so many songs before. But
the fact is that they are well deserved because the
music is amazing. Simply wonderful religious ballads and they
really get to your heart. . .everytime."

We Lift Our Voice
We lift our voice and fall to our knees in one accord,
To worship You together.
We lift our voice and fall to our knees in one accord,
To worship You together.
For Thou art Lord, our God and King,
Youre our Maker, our Savior, Redeemer.
For Thou art worthy to be praised.
Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb, Jesus.
Nails in Your hands, announcing Your sacrifice for us,
We worship You together.
Raised from the grave, proclaiming the victory given to us,
And You will reign forever.
For Thou art Lord, our God and King,
Youre our Maker, our Savior, Redeemer.
For Thou art worthy to be praised.
Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb, Jesus.
We glorify the Lord who redeemed us with His blood,
We worship Him together.
We lift our lives, to the Lord who has saved us with His love,
We will worship Christ forever.
For Thou art Lord, our God and King,
Youre our Maker, our Savior, Redeemer.
For Thou art worthy to be praised.
Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb, Jesus.

Saying Jesus, Jesus
I love You, I love You.
Saying Jesus, Jesus
I love You, I love You.
Lift your hands, let all who hath breath lift your hands,
Till heaven abounds rejoicing,
O lift up your praise to the Lord.
Lift your hands, let all who hath breath lift your hands,
Till heaven abounds rejoicing,
O lift up your praise to the Lord.
Saying Jesus, Jesus,
I praise you, I praise You.
I Saying Jesus, Jesus,
I want you, I want you.

I need You, I need You.

Till heaven abounds rejoicing,
O lift up your praise to the Lord.

Song Story
This instrumental medley combines two
praise songs We Lift Our Voice and Let All Who Hath Breath Praise the
Lord. Stories regarding each of these individual choruses can be found at this site
under those titles. I began combining the two songs during our praise time at Calvary
Chapel long before I came up with the arrangement that is presented here. The two songs
just compliment each other and the congregation always praised God enthusiastically when
they were played together.
Eventually this praise medley was included in the 1984 Calvary Chapel praise album
released by Maranatha! Music entitled Let All Who Hath Breath Praise the Lord.
Years later, as I was putting together a musical based upon the Book of Revelation for the
group Selah I was drawn again to this medley. I re-recorded the instrumentals
for the background trac and included it in the Revelation set as we called it.
The song was very effective with a long, driving instrumental portion in it that made a
suitable for reading a portion of the Apostle Johns prophetic book. Presented here
is that completed instrumental version.
We Lift Our Voice begins with piano which is soon joined by soft acoustic
guitars that emphasize the melody. Eventually a powerful drum beat supports a dramatic
culmination that features driving B3 and piano leads. After the section climaxes at the
end of this percussive and electrifying exchange of solos, the piece settles down to a
light electric piano joined by acoustic guitars introducing the reflective melody of
Let All Who Hath Breath Praise the Lord. As the sound of strings envelop the
melody this soothing song allows worshippers time to ponder the wonders of God while
declaring Jesus, I love you.
We invite you to join us as we praise the Lord in these two songs. They have always
provided a great addition to our worship life with God. We pray that they will do the same
for you.
